PERSONALITY

 Shiori is a quiet strong young woman, who carries the weight of her family’s mistakes. Shiori takes enormous pride in her family’s legacy in professional wrestling. Although not the son her father may have wanted, Shiori has studiously strived to be the best wrestler she can be. Because of this, Shiori often seems overly serious, doesn’t laugh, doesn’t even seem to get a lot of jokes. Shiori has begun to appreciate the new life offered to her.  This has seemed to bring out a new facet of Shiori Royale as she begun to assert herself, and show signs of a more aggressive personality, thanks to her association with The United Sisters of Asia

Shiori does a flying senton flip onto opponent outside of the ring, into the corner turnbuckle, or onto an opponent in the middle of the ring from the top turnbuckle.

PURPLE PASSION STRETCH: (Stretch Plum)

Shiori applies an inverted facelock to a seated opponent and places her far leg between the opponent's legs and pushes her near leg's knee into her opponent's back.

 

ENTRANCE

“Kids” by Sleigh Bells begins to play, Shiori steps out onto the platform in her purple & pink joshi wrestling outfit. Shiori walks to the ring showing absolutely no emotion whatsoever. She will completely ignore the audience, instead adjusting her wrist tape, and her eyes firmly focused on her opponent or the waiting ring.

Entering the ring, Shiori walks the ring steps, then does the traditional wiping of her boots on the wrestling ring edge. Shiori steps between the top & second ring ropes, walks to the center of the ring, looks ahead, and continues adjusting her wrist tape.

HISTORY

The Tanaka family of Osaka Japan belongs to a house of the secretive society known as the Coven. The elder Tanaka a professional wrestler turned politician, failed the owner of that Japanese house & was slated for punishment. The Tanaka family though is thought of very highly in the Osaka Coven house, so the leader of the house came up with a unique punishment. The Tanaka family retained their importance in the Osaka house, but one of their children was to be ‘given’ to another Coven house.

The elder Tanaka chose his youngest ( and illegitimate ) daughter Shiori, to receive the family’s punishment. Shiori was given to Samantha Royale the ruler of the New York house, under the provision she punish her. Hearing of Shiori’s love for professional wrestling, much like her daughter, Serena Royale, Samantha decided on a punishment that amused her. Samantha decided to give Shiori to her daughters as a gift, as another 'sister'. Shiori would also be allowed to compete in professional wrestling, but NOT win.

Shiori became a part of the Royale ‘family’, acting as Simone Royale’s bodyguard, and losing as a Dark Match Diva. Serena actually having competed against Shiori in Japan, felt sorry for Shi. Serena eventually grew very close to Shiori, like a real sister. This prompted Serena to ask a favor of their mother Samantha. Serena offered to give up her professional wrestling career & work for the family, and in return Shiori would be freed of her punishment & allowed to freely compete.

In an effort to bring all of the Royale Family closer, Simone Royale came up with a plan to get Shiori officially into 3WL. Capitalizing on the drama going on with the Soone Twins & Oni Kymiku, along with some information from Nyako, Shiori took the place of a incapacitated & masked Fukumi Soone. Under this mask, Shiori won a tables gauntlet match in the inaugural ALCW show, earning her a spot in 3WL. Shiori Royale then realizing the benefits of joining a stable like her sister Serena did with the Violent Femmes. Shiori choose to join with ‘Oni’ Kymiku & her sister Nyako, forming a stable that would later be called the United Sisters of Asia.

This decision to join with ‘Oni’ has put Shiori at odds with her sister Serena, for the actions ‘Oni’ has committed against Serena’s best friend Nicky Silver. It’s another example of the ever changing Shiori Royale.
